Welcome

Christian Parent Controlled Schools Ltd (CPCS) is a community of schools owned and governed by the Christian parents of the children who attend the school.

In all their structural and curriculum practices CPCS schools endeavour to celebrate God as creator and ruler of all and understand that the bible reveals God as the author of all knowledge.

Our schools are committed to a dynamic partnership between parents and teachers in order to teach and nurture children from a Christian view of the world.

Christian Parent Controlled Schools is currently undertaking a name change and refreshed identity. As a part of this process we are developing a new website which we hope to have up and running in August 2008.

HEALTHY, SUSTAINABLE CHRISTIAN TEACHER EDUCATION
Your suggestions and comments sought through this online survey

The future health of Christian education in Australia depends in large part on the commitment to, and provision of, quality Christian teacher education that is thoroughly grounded in a biblical understanding of the world and education. The Natonal Institute for Christian Education (NICE) has been doing a marvellous job in this area.  We need to build on that work.  The Board and NICE Council have commissioned a representative reference group to work on a planning process for the long-term future of Christian teacher education in Australia. Putting a plan in place for Christian teacher education that is effective and biblically grounded needs a wide range of inputs.

The Reference Group working on this would value your thoughts, suggestions and input and would appreciate you taking a few minutes to complete a survey (click here). There is also the option (on the final screen) of requesting a member of the Reference Group to contact you to discuss your response in more detail.
